South Lake Decade Freshwater Introduction
PROJECT LOCATION:
This project is located in Terrebonne Parish southwest of Houma.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
It consists of installing a water control structure in the southern bank of Lake DeCade with shoreline protection as well as removal of a weir.
PROJECT STATUS: (Project Status Last Updated: 09-Jan-2013 )
Construction Unit #1 was completed on July 12, 2011. CPRA did not agree to proceed with 2nd construction unit, therefore project was considered completed and closed out.
FUND STATUS:
The current project estimate is $3,438,760 , which includes $3,296,245 for construction first costs, and $71,346 and $71,169 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
