Louisiana Earth Day, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization, was founded in 1990 by a group of volunteers who wanted to have Baton Rouge celebrate the National Earth Day in Baton Rouge. It was such a HUGE success that it became an annual event! Since that time the celebration of Earth Day in Baton Rouge has grown annually with new and exciting activities each year.
