BA-171 Updated Reports

EPA is providing the Supplement to the Final Environmental Assessment (EA) in support of the preliminary Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) issued for public notice on February 3, 2017. This is in response to the increased project footprint of the Caminada Headland Back Barrier Marsh Project (BA-171). This project was approved for funding by the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection and Restoration Act (CWPPRA) Task Force as part of the 23rd Priority Project List.

On April 17, 2019, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority received authorization from the CWPPRA Task Force to combine the Caminada Headland Back Barrier Marsh Creation, Increment II (BA-193) project with the BA-171 project footprint, as well as the corresponding increase in the Phase 2 construction budget for the BA-171-2 project.
