Humble Canal Hydrologic Restoration

PROJECT LOCATION:

This project is located on 5,500 acres of fresh and intermediate marsh in Cameron Parish, LA.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

It consists of replacing the existing Humble Canal structure to restore water management capabilities to the area.

PROJECT STATUS: (Project Status Last Updated: 12-Mar-2003 )

Construction complete March 2003.

FUND STATUS:

The current project estimate is $1,574,926 , which includes $660,247 for construction first costs, and $587,261 and $327,418 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
