Regional Planning Team Meeting Reminder
The CWPPRA Regional Planning Teams (RPT) will meet to propose projects to be included on the 27th Priority Project List (PPL 27). All proposals consistent with the 2012 State Master Plan or the draft 2017 State Master Plan will be considered as possible nominees for the PPL 27 evaluation process. A lead agency will be assigned to each nominated project to develop fact sheets. If you have questions or would like guidance on the development of projects that are consistent with the 2012 State Master Plan or draft 2017 State Master Plan, please contact Stuart Brown of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) by phone at (225) 342-4596 or email at Stuart.Brown@la.gov.

The coastwide RPT vote will occur on March 7, 2017 via email to select up to 22 nominees (including demonstration project nominees) for Technical Committee approval. New RPT Presentation Requirements:
- Proposals must be less than five minutes.
- All Powerpoint slide presentations must be no more than five slides.
- Powerpoint presentations must be emailed to Kaitlyn.M.Carriere@usace.army.mil no later than 3:00 p.m. the day before the RPT meeting OR must be provided on a CD (no flash drives please) 30 minutes before the RPT meeting.

Meeting Purpose: The Regional Planning Teams (RPTs) will accept project and demonstration project nominations for developing the 27th Priority Project List (PPL). Public comments are welcomed; however, no voting will take place at these meetings. RPTs will select PPL 27 nominees via electronic voting on March 7, 2016.
*If not already identified, parishes within each basin will be asked today to identify who will vote during the coastwide electronic vote. No additional projects will be nominated after the RPT meetings, nor will any significant changes to projects proposed at these January meetings be allowed. Public comments will be heard during the meeting today and additional written comments may be forwarded to the CWPPRA Program Manager, by March 1, 2017 for dissemination to the CWPPRA agencies.
