CWPPRA Technical Committee Priority Project List (PPL) 26 Candidate Voting Results
The CWPPRA Technical Committee met today in Baton Rouge, LA and selected four Project Priority List (PPL) 26 candidate projects to recommend to the Task Force for Phase I Engineering and Design. The following projects were selected: Bayou DeCade Ridge and Marsh Creation, St. Catherine Island Marsh Creation and Shoreline Protection, Bayou LaLoutre Ridge and Marsh Restoration, and the Salivnia Weevil Propagation Facility. The Technical Committee selected two projects to recommend to the Task Force for Phase II authorization and Increment 1 funding: Northwest Turtle Bay Marsh Creation and Cameron Meadows Marsh Creation and Terracing. The Task Force may approve these recommended projects for Phase I and Phase II funding when they meet on January 12, 2017 at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana.
