On Friday, February 23, 2024, CWPPRA agencies and participating coastal parishes voted to select project nominees for PPL 34. The nominees were selected from the 50 basin projects and 3 demonstration projects that were proposed during the Regional Planning Team (RPT) meetings held January 30 and 31, 2024 and February 1, 2024.
The nominees consist of 20 basin projects and 1 demonstration project.
The PPL 34 nominees will be preliminarily evaluated by the CWPPRA Workgroups and narrowed down at the April 4, 2024 Technical Committee meeting to the PPL 34 candidate projects, which will consist of 10 basin projects (potentially including a demonstration project). Public comment will be solicited at the April Technical Committee meeting prior to the Committee’s vote.
