- Decision: Adoption of Minutes for the January 27, 2022 Task Force Meeting (Sarah Bradley, USACE) 9:50 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. Ms. Sarah Bradley will present the minutes from the last Task Force meeting. Task Force members may provide suggestions for additional information to be included in the official minutes.
- Report: Status of CWPPRA Program Funds and Projects (Jernice Cheavis, USACE) 9:55 a.m. to 10:05 a.m. Ms. Jernice Cheavis will provide an overview of the status of CWPPRA accounts and available funding in the Planning and Construction Programs.
- Report: Construction Update (Sarah Bradley, USACE) 10:05 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. The CWPPRA agencies will provide a report on projects that are currently under construction and projects that have recently completed construction.
- Report: Public Outreach Committee Report (Lauren Leonpacher, USGS) 10:25 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Ms. Lauren Leonpacher will present the Public Outreach Committee report.
- Report: Coastwide Reference Monitoring System (CRMS) Report (Leigh Anne Sharp, CPRA) 10:45 a.m. to 11:05 a.m. Ms. Leigh Anne Sharp will provide a report on CRMS.
- Report/Decision: Upcoming 20-Year Life Projects (Sarah Bradley, USACE) 11:05 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. The project sponsors will present a recommended path forward for projects nearing the end of their 20-year lives. The Task Force will vote based on the Technical Committee’s recommended path forward for the following project.

- approval of an additional Operation and Maintenance budget increase and funding allocation of $329,258 for land rights, design, cost estimate, and other preparations needed for a final maintenance event,
- approval of a two-year project life extension (thru March 2025) to allow time for completion of the work.
- Decision: Request for a No-Cost Time Extension for Caernarvon Diversion Outfall Management (BS-03a) Project (Quin Kinler, NRCS) 11:20 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. NRCS and CPRA request Task Force approval based on the Technical Committee recommendation of a two year no cost time extension for Caernarvon Diversion Outfall Management in order to continue working out the proposed final actions before closeout. At a later date, NRCS and CPRA will seek approval of project closeout with a cost increase to execute the final maintenance event.
- Decision: Request for a No-Cost Time Extension for Bayou Sauvage NWR Hydrologic Restoration-Phase 1 (PO-16) and Bayou Sauvage NWR Hydrologic Restoration-Phase 2 (PO-18) Projects (Kevin Roy, FWS) 11:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. FWS and CPRA request Task Force approval based on the Technical Committee recommendation of a two year no-cost time extension for PO-16 and a one year no-cost time extension for PO-18 in order to continue working out the proposed path forward for these two projects.
- Decision: Request for a No-Cost Time Extension for Oaks/ Avery Canal Hydrologic Restoration (TV-13a) Project (Dion Broussard, CPRA) 11:40 am to 11:50 am. CPRA and NRCS request Task Force approval based on the Technical Committee recommendation of a one-year no-cost extension to complete final maintenance event and complete project close out.
- Decision: Request for a Transfer of Approved O&M to Approved Monitoring and a Monitoring Budget Increase & Funding Allocation for the Hwy 384 Hydrologic Restoration (CS-21) Project (Leigh Anne Sharp, CPRA) 11:50 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. NRCS and CPRA request Task Force approval based on the Technical Committee recommendation to transfer $13,737.42 from approved O&M to approved State Monitoring and a Monitoring budget increase and funding allocation of $11,726.74 to reconcile the budget for project close out.
- Decision: Initial Inactivation of East Leeville Marsh Creation and Nourishment (BA-194) Project (Patrick Williams, NMFS) 12:00 p.m. to 12:10 p.m. NMFS and CPRA request Task Force approval based on the Technical Committee recommendation to initiate inactivation of the East Leeville Marsh Creation and Nourishment Project (BA-194) because of site conditions and increasing backlog of more cost-effective projects with limited program funds for construction.
- Decision: FY23 Planning Budget Approval, including the PPL 33 Process, and Presentation of FY23 Outreach Budget (Process, Size, Funding, etc.) (Sarah Bradley, USACE) 12:10 p.m. to 12:25 p.m. The P&E Subcommittee will present their recommended FY23 Planning Program Budget development, including the PPL 33 Process.
- The Task Force will vote based on the Technical Committee recommendation to approve that the PPL 33 Process include selecting four nominees in the Barataria and Terrebonne Basins; three projects in the Breton Sound and Pontchartrain Basins; two nominees in the Mermentau, Calcasieu/Sabine, and Tech/Vermilion Basins; and one nominee will be selected in the Atchafalaya Basin.
- The Task Force will vote based on the Technical Committee recommendation to approve the FY23 Outreach Committee Budget, in the amount of $452,113.
- The Task Force will vote based on the Technical Committee recommendation to approve the FY23 Planning Budget (includes Outreach Committee Budget), in the amount of $5,008,132.
- Report: Selection of Ten Candidate Projects to Evaluate for PPL 32 (Kristen Ramsey, FWS) 12:25 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. At the April 7, 2022 meeting, the Technical Committee selected ten projects as PPL 32 candidates for Phase 0 analysis as listed below.
