Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association will host its 6th Annual River Symposium, Rediscover the Vermilion: Expanding the Economic & Cultural Resources of Our River on September 13, 2019. This year's theme will highlight how strategic development around our river can improve our quality of life while protecting natural resources in our community.



The event includes a day of speakers, including Chef Pat Mould as the Honorary Chairman, opening remarks by Billy Nungesser. Speakers will include Kristen Veldhouse (HDR), Chad Lacombe (Acadiana Planning Commission) and Eric Johnson (Audubon Louisiana) just to name a few. Scott Brazda will moderate a very interesting panel discussion at the end of the day. The Sympoisum will be from 7:45 – 1:30 at Vermilionville.
