PROJECT LOCATION:

The Sabine Refuge Marsh Creation Cycle 3 Project is located on the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge, west of Highway 27, in a large, open water area west of Brown's Lake. It is located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Sabine Refuge Marsh Creation Cycle 3 Project consists of the placement of dredged material from routine maintenance of the Calcasieu River Ship Channel via temporary pipeline into a marsh creation site within the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge. The Project will create approximately 231 acres of marsh.
