PROJECT LOCATION:

Swamps south of Lake Maurepas, St. John the Baptist, St. James, and Ascension Parishes, Louisiana.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project will divert 1,500 cfs river water, through a diversion structure in the Mississippi River levee, into a 5-mile outflow channel, and into Maurepas Swamps.
