Youth Wetlands Week Trash BashApril 18, 2009
9:00 a.m. to Noon
We're looking for volunteers to give back to Baton Rouge for Youth Wetlands
Week and Earth Day!
By helping pick up trash you will prevent it from being discharged into our
watersheds and wetlands, improving water quality and the beauty of the area.
What: Trash Bash
Where: City Park Lake Parking Lot, LSU Lakes (parking lot is located on May
Dr. between Dalrymple Dr. and East Lakeshore).
When: 9 a.m. - Noon
We will break the volunteers into groups to pick up trash from 9:00-10:30
a.m. Following the cleanup there will be informational booths for the kids!

Please bring: Closed-toes shoes, sunscreen, clothes for the weather, and a
desire to give back to Baton Rouge!

The Youth Wetlands Education and Outreach Program provides hands-on
wetland-related educational lessons to teachers and organizes service
