IMPORTANT CWPPRA PPL 18 Voting Procedure Changes:
During the PPL 18 Regional Planning Team meetings, only one project was
proposed in the Mississippi River Delta Basin and only one project was
proposed in the Atchafalaya Basin. The CWPPRA Technical Committee has
approved a change in the PPL 18 Nominee Project selection rules to allow
three projects to be selected for nominees in both the Breton Sound and
Calcasieu/Sabine basins due to the severity of the coastal land loss that
has resulted from hurricanes Katrina and Rita. This would provide 20
nominees.

Therefore, the total number of project nominees will be selected in each
basin as follows:

2 Pontchartrain
1 Mississippi River
3 Breton Sound
3 Barataria
3 Terrebonne
1 Atchafalaya
2 Teche/Vermilion
2 Mermentau
3 Calcasieu/Sabine
