Plant trees at Fontainebleau State Park on the Northshore, Saturday, Feb
23, 9am to 3pm. Volunteers will plant trees in Fontainebleau State Park.
Volunteers are reforesting areas that were destroyed by high wind from
hurricane Katrina. Katrina knocked down a significant amount of trees in
this park along the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. Orientation and
training included. No previous experience necessary. Water, lunch,
sunscreen, bug spray and gloves will be provided.
