North Lake Mechant Landbridge Restoration

Terrebonne Bay Shore Protection Demonstration
(USFWS/ LDNR - TE-45)
West Lake Boudreaux Shoreline Protection and Marsh Creation
(USFWS/LDNR - TE-46)
Raccoon Island Shoreline Protection and Marsh Creation
(NRCS/LDNR - TE-48)
Sediment Trapping at "The Jaws"
(NMFS/LDNR - TV-15)

Field Trips:
New Cut Dune and Marsh Restoration (TE-37)
The New Cut field trip will leave by boat from LUMCON, and should take
about one hour to reach the project.
Total time 2-2.5 hours.
West Lake Boudreaux Shoreline Protection and Marsh Creation (TE-46)
The Lake Boudreaux tour will leave from Sharky's Landing (which is a 15
minute drive from LUMCON),
and will take 20 minutes to reach the project by boat.
Total Time 1-1.5 hours.
Raccoon Island Shoreline Protection and Marsh Creation (TE-48)
The Raccoon Island tour will leave from LUMCON, and should take about one
hour to reach the project by boat.
Total time 2-2.5 hours.
LUMCON Marsh Tour
LUMCON's pontoon boat will tour the marsh area near the facility. Each
tour takes about one hour.
Total time 1 hour
